FeaturesIPTorrents is one of the biggest and longest-running general private trackers out there. If you’ve ever wished The Pirate Bay had fast, well-seeded, malware-free torrents and nobody spamming fake uploads, this is pretty much that, with the catch that you need to get in first and then play by the rules.
How to get in
IPTorrents is invite-only. The usual way in is an invite from an existing member; every now and then registration opens for a short window, and those windows get announced in private-tracker communities. Never buy invites from random sellers: traded accounts get banned, and you’re handing money to a stranger. Once you’re in, don’t share your account or post invites publicly, which is a fast way to lose access.
What you’ll find
This is a “general” tracker, so it covers almost everything: movies, TV, games, software, music, anime and more, from small encodes to full remuxes. New TV episodes and movie releases usually show up very quickly, and older or harder-to-find titles are much easier to locate here than on public sites. Listings show size, seeders and format at a glance, and search and category filters make it quick to find the right release.
Speed and seeding
Because members have to keep seeding, popular releases are very well seeded and downloads tend to max out your connection. Rare content stays alive far longer than on public trackers. You can use any normal client like qBittorrent; magnet links and .torrent files are available once you’re logged in.
Ratio, Hit & Run and bonus points
This is where newcomers get caught. You need to keep a healthy upload/download ratio, or your downloads get restricted and eventually your account is at risk. Every torrent you grab has to be seeded for the required time (currently two weeks), or it counts as a Hit & Run. Check your Snatch list regularly to see which torrents still need seeding. The good news: Freeleech torrents (marked FL) don’t count against your download, and bonus points earned while seeding can be swapped for upload credit or used to clear a Hit & Run. Grab Freeleech early, leave your client running, and you’ll be fine.
Inactivity
Accounts that go unused for a long time get disabled, and they’re rarely reactivated. If you got in, log in from time to time even when you’re not downloading anything.
Who it’s for
If you download a lot and want reliable, fast, clean torrents across every category, IPTorrents is one of the best options available.
